We've been using FreshChef MKE since 2020 and never wrote a review. Obviously we like it if we've been getting it THIS long! I had to write and state how much we like getting already-prepared meals weekly. It saves so much time after work to be able to just throw them in the microwave! If we go out of town, we just don't order for that week. No need to pause a subscription because there isn't one! I think twice we had an issue with something missing from the order (in 4 years) and Austin or an associate quickly answers emails and rectifies the issue. There is no minimum order but the more you order, the cheaper the meals are. The app makes it super simple to order and we love that now we can customize the meals to an extent, making it easier to substitute meats or exchange a carb for a lettuce wrap or zoodles. They also cater and have side dishes you can order. It's a little late to order a side dish for July Fourth but there's always Labor Day. :) You HAVE to try the POTATO SALAD! I could eat the whole container myself - unbelievable. And I LOVE the fact that they partner with other local businesses like Hundred Acre Farm in Milwaukee for fresh greens. FreshChef's salads are SUPER FRESH and the portions are HUGE. Never had a bad salad yet! They partnered with Hundred Acre Farm to create a basil pesto that's being sold in some local grocery stores and can be purchased from FreshChef. It's the best! Keep up the great work!

Great for Gluten-free Diet My son attends Marquette and has Celiac Disease. I started ordering Fresh Chef for delivery to his dorm last year when he was struggling to get decent gluten-free meals at the school cafeterias. It is super handy, has great variety, and so much healthier. Meals are clearly marked GF. There are also options to add or swap protein. Now he is living in an apatment and we are using the meal service again for convenience during a particularly challenging semester. He also really likes the extra protein I can add on (burgers, chicken breasts) and for a treat, the protein balls. Another plus is how they package the food - it comes fresh (not frozen) in plastic containers so you can heat it up on a plate. Some meal services come with a lot of waste with freezer packs and require you to heat the food in their plastic wrapped containers. I can't say enough good things about how Fresh Chef runs their business. I am really grateful for how it's helped my son stay healthy at college.

Review We have Been using Fresh Chef MKE for 3+ yrs .Started w / recommendation from my son who knows and worked with Austin ..than needed to go GF with sudden allergic reaction .Have loved his meals , the variety and sauces always compliment salad or meal.His peanut sauce is to die for ...peanut flavored..not salty soduim! Love ability to substitute for cauliflower rice or corn tortillas.

AWESOME!! I hate cooking so my son gave me a gift certificate for Fresh Chef for Christmas. My husband and I absolutely LOVE it!! The food is so good and it's so easy to prepare. It's hard to believe you can eat food this good and all it takes is 3 minutes in the microwave!! My kind of cooking! I have had the salmon every week and it's SO good - so tender and never "fishy"!! LOVE this food!! I hate cooking, but I love good food. We are totally sick of carry out food. My son gave me Fresh Chef for Christmas and we absolutely LOVE it!! It's hard to believe food that is microwaved for 3 minutes can taste this good. I have had salmon every week and it's excellent every time! I also love that my husband and I can order different entrees since I don't eat red meat and he does. I look forward to the new menus that come out each week. As a family who feels like we are always rushing to get dinner made before we leave for a sport or extra circular we are so grateful for the 2-3 minute prep fresh chef takes. Freshchef Milwaukee, WI Freshchef has provided meals there are delicious, securely packaged, delivered to my home, very convenient and offer a variety of meal options. I especially enjoy having options to have salmon, salads, stews and chilies- meals that are usually serving several people at a time and as a single person I am able to enjoy these meals without leftovers. One of my most favorite options is the variety of soups available which are homemade and delicious. My favorite is the loaded potato soup. I am so pleased to have Freshchef and very much enjoy their services.

Delicious and Wonderful I have had many if their entres and have never been disappointed. I always sub out the starch for a vegetable and it works great. Some freeze better than others, so consider that if you are ordering more to keep cost per item in check. I love the fact it's not a monthly subscription. I have also given gift certificates to new mothers who appreciate the convenience and the quality of their choices. Try this! I think you will be pleased.

Great food, great people I’ve been ordering FreshChefMKE for a number of months and am very happy. The menu is varied but I’ve chosen my favorites ( chicken tinga, tortilla soup, chicken pot pie, salmon with quinoa) and cannot wait for them to return to the rotating menu. Quality food I’ve been ordering some nice they first came to Cedarburg and I order bulk. Their sirloin steak, salmon, pork and soups are amazing. I’m a single person so I split the meats into 4 oz packages and freeze so I can have them with or in a salad at any time. I will share the soups with friends and family but the lobster bisque is the best. Not sharing that anymore— it’s too good to share. Keep doing what you’re doing Fresh Chef!!

Excellent We have been ordering freshchef for a little over 5 months now. The food is excellent and always fresh. I specially like their weekly variety of different meal options. They always keep a few staple items that are some of my favorites- the grilled sirloin is fire!! The ordering process is very simple and easy through their app. Delivery is available, which is always promptly on time. I highly recommend freshchef mke.
Quality I ordered for the first time, it was very simple & they provide exact details of when the order is coming, the delivery driver texts you when they’re on their way so you know, meals come with instructions on re-heating, which is super easy & I ate my first one this AM, which was delicious!!! I will def be ordering again on these busy (holiday) weeks where there might not be time to get to the grocery store & prepare meals yourself!

(Which is Monday) THE FOOD on the other hand… let me tell you, the fresh chef has a LIST of amazing stuff to choice from. You got individual meals like egg bites an potatoes! There a protein an a starch option. You can go ahead and pick out your meats an potatoes/rice. They also have may more options like sweets, soups, specials and some others ! That was one of the reasons I feel in love with the freshchef. So many options and n so many great foods! Oh! I forgot to mention. There is new food every week! So don’t worry about eating something to often. The freshchef does an amazing job cycling out new delicious food weekly!

Excellent While we were at the hospital hours after having our son, we saw FreshChef on one of the local news stations. Great Quality & Value My family has been enjoying Fresh Chef for the last few months. I like that there is a mix between meals and a la carte items. We have started to identify our favorite meals and see them in the rotation. I can finally keep enough protein in the house for my 17 year old athlete. We've been using the service for about 6 months year. The majority of the meals are very good. Rarely some of the portions seem very small. The price is at the upper end of what we're comfortable paying and the low carb substitutions are a little bit too pricey in my opinion. Overall I think it's the best service we found in the Milwaukee area.

This was my first time and I have to say I am absolutely IMPRESSED! The food quality is amazing! They're perfectly portioned. The meat is all juicy (never dry), and can we talk about how flavorful it is!?! Not to mention how nutritious the meals are as well! The delivery was great!
